Jaclyn Perovich
Foster Coordinator
Jaclyn Perovich is a Northern Virginia transplant having grown up in Southern California. First becoming a volunteer as a foster for WTAR in 2019, it has always been a dream of hers to work for a non-profit organization. Having pets around has always been a staple throughout her life so it’s no wonder how she eventually wound up working at an animal rescue. Jaclyn combines her educational background in conflict analysis and resolution with her love for planning and executing events to help with the WTAR foster program, making it as efficient and enjoyable as possible for staff and volunteers. In her spare time, you’ll find Jaclyn settled in someplace warm with a good book, traveling to see the world, tending to the family’s micro flower farm, spending quality time with her husband and two young boys, cuddling her dog Leila or the family WTAR cat, Princess Buttercup, or helping clean up after the ever-changing roster of visiting foster cats and dogs.
